# How to cancel your subscription or uninstall Lably

Lably is billed through your Shopify bill. You can switch to another plan inside the app, or uninstall Lably, which cancels any plan and stops all charges. This article explains both and what to check before you uninstall.

# ${color}[#204a87](Change or cancel your plan)

You can cancel a paid plan in two ways:

* **Switch to the Free plan** on the **Plans** page in Lably. The Free plan includes 1 active label rule and 1 active badge rule, and paid features, such as animations, schedules and translations, stop working.
* **Uninstall Lably.** Uninstalling the app automatically cancels any plan.

# ${color}[#204a87](Before you uninstall)

* **Labels and badges disappear from your store.** Shopify removes the Lably app embed from your theme automatically.
* **Your labels will be permanently deleted.** If you reinstall Lably later, your previous labels and settings cannot be restored.
* **Custom CSS and fonts.** If you added a custom font to your theme for Lably, or our team added code during setup, remove it from your theme or contact us.

1. From your Shopify admin, go to **Settings > Apps**.
2. Click the menu icon (**...**) next to **Lably** and select **Uninstall**.

3. Select a reason under **Reason for uninstalling**. You can also add a comment in **Share feedback**: it helps us improve the app.
4. Click **Uninstall**.

|| Shopify warns that uninstalling deletes the data the app manages, such as discounts. If you reinstall Lably later, you'll need to set it up again, and any discounts previously applied through the app may no longer be available.

# ${color}[#204a87](What happens to billing)

Uninstalling Lably cancels its future recurring charges. Charges for the current billing cycle may still appear on your next Shopify bill, because apps are billed on their own 30-day cycle.

Refunds for app charges are handled by the app developer, not by Shopify. If you think you were charged by mistake, contact us at support@devit.software before you uninstall.
