Why is the banner still displayed in my store?
Disabling the app extension in your theme disables the implementation of this code and the display of any content generated by our app. Furthermore, after deleting the app, Shopify automatically disables all changes made by the app to the theme.
Still see the banner in my store
If you're still seeing a banner on your store after uninstalling our app, there are two possible reasons:
- It might be from another app.
Many apps use similar-looking banners, so it’s easy to mistake another app’s banner for ours.
- Your store’s theme may include hardcoded elements.
Sometimes developers add banners directly into the theme’s code to improve performance. If our banner was hardcoded instead of using the official Shopify extension method, it may remain visible even after the app is removed.
