Display conditions: show a label only on the products you choose

Display conditions decide which products get a label or badge. Set a rule once, for example "products created in the last 30 days", and Lably adds the label to every matching product, including products you add later.

How display conditions work

• A label with no conditions appears on all products.
• A label with conditions appears only on products that match them.
• The label follows your product data: when a product sells out or its discount ends, the label updates on its own. You don't need to edit the label.

Add a condition

1. Open the label or badge.
2. In the Display Conditions block below the menu, click Add condition.
3. Select the condition type, for example Product tag.

4. Fill in the rule, for example Includes and the tag name.
5. Click ‹ next to the condition name to go back.
6. Click Save.

To change a condition later, click Edit next to it. To delete it, click Edit and then the trash icon.

Any or All: combine several conditions

With two or more conditions, choose how they work together next to Products must match:

• Any: the product needs to match at least one condition. Use it to cover several groups, for example the tag "Summer" or the vendor "Nike".
• All: the product must match every condition. Use it to narrow down, for example "in stock" and "fewer than 10 items".

Available conditions

Choose products directly

• Products selected: pick products by hand. Is equal or Is not equal.
• Collections selected: all products in the chosen collections. Is equal or Is not equal.

Product data

• Product tag: Includes or Does not include a tag.
• Product title, Product type, Product vendor: Is equal, Is not equal to, Contains, Doesn't contain, Starts with or Ends with a text.
• Product price: In range or Not in range, with a minimum and maximum.
• Product compare-at price: In range, Not in range, Empty or Not empty.
• Product weight: In range or Not in range, in g, kg, oz or lb.
• Product created, Product published: Is newer than or Is older than a number of days, or Is in period / Is not in period.
• Product variants: Product with variants or Product has no variants.
• Product metafield: by the value of a metafield. See Use product metafields in label text and display conditions.

Stock and sales

• Product inventory: In stock, Out of stock, Stock availability is greater than or Stock availability is less than a number. The numbers count the stock of all variants together. In stock follows the product's availability in Shopify, so products that don't track inventory also count as in stock.
• Variant inventory: All variants or Any variant, with Variant quantity is greater than or less than a number.
• Available for sale: Available for Sale or Not Available for Sale.
• Discount percentage, Discount amount: compare the discount with a number, for example Is greater than 30.

Customer

• Visitor country: Include or Exclude the countries you select. Lably checks the country the visitor is browsing from.

Examples

"New" label for products from the last 30 days

1. Click Add condition and select Product created.
2. Select Is newer than and enter 30 days.

"Eco-friendly" label for one vendor

1. Click Add condition and select Product vendor.
2. Select Is equal and enter the vendor name.

"Low stock" label for products running out

1. Add Product inventory > Stock availability is less than > 10.
2. Add Product inventory > Stock availability is greater than > 0.
3. Set Products must match to All.

Label for visitors from certain countries

1. Click Add condition and select Visitor country.
2. Select Include and choose the countries.
