How to cancel your subscription or uninstall ReSell
How to cancel your subscription or uninstall ReSell
In this article:
ReSell is billed through your Shopify bill. You can switch to another plan inside the app, or uninstall ReSell, which cancels any plan and stops all charges. This article explains both and what to check before you uninstall.
Change or cancel your plan
ReSell doesn't have a free plan. To cancel your plan, uninstall ReSell: uninstalling the app automatically cancels any plan.
If you want to keep using ReSell at a lower cost, you can switch to another plan on the Plans page in ReSell. If you need help, contact us at support@devit.software.
Before you uninstall
- Offers stop showing. Checkout, post-purchase, Thank You and Order Status offers disappear. Discounts created by ReSell are deleted.
- Choose another post-purchase app. Go to Settings > Checkout in your Shopify admin and check the post-purchase page setting. Select another app or None.
- Checkout blocks stop showing. Shopify stops showing ReSell blocks on the Checkout, Thank you and Order status pages.
- Orders stay as they are. Orders with accepted upsells and their order tags stay in Shopify.
Uninstall ReSell
- From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps.
- Click the menu icon (...) next to ReSell and select Uninstall.

- Select a reason under Reason for uninstalling. You can also add a comment in Share feedback: it helps us improve the app.
- Click Uninstall.

What happens to billing
Uninstalling ReSell cancels its future recurring charges. Charges for the current billing cycle may still appear on your next Shopify bill, because apps are billed on their own 30-day cycle.
ReSell plans have usage charges (store orders or upsell revenue). Usage from the current billing cycle is added to your next Shopify bill, even after you uninstall.
Refunds for app charges are handled by the app developer, not by Shopify. If you think you were charged by mistake, contact us at support@devit.software before you uninstall.
